PoorButHappy says on Jul 4, 2009, 07:17: chill mr. bill... definitely not attacking anyone, not my style. i simply stated the obvious. the problem is the thread is in black and white with no personality thrown in so if one doesn't know me they might possibly interpret my response as being something it was not intended such as you did. simply read my past comments and you will quickly see i am not a trouble maker as so many are here on pbh.

PoorButHappy says on Jul 4, 2009, 08:16: hmmmm... someone told me the other day about an ice cream store that had the best ice cream in medellin but i forgot the name. it wasn't creps and waffles and it wasn't the one with the yellow sign you see in every mall here. i think it had the name "soft" in the title but I can't for the life of me remember the full name.

dwmte7 says on Jul 5, 2009, 14:53: years ago there was a hagen daz in the south west corner of pk lleras. prices were through the roof. 12-13 dollars a pint that we paid four dollars state side. the poor street children used to sit outside and wonder what it was like to eat a cone that cost 4 or five dollars. i guess it was just too out of line and went the way of the whale. patriarch 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

PoorButHappy says on Jul 6, 2009, 05:58: guys, guys, guys! I know how to make homemade ice cream. I've used the hand crank when i was a little kid and then the electric and later the completely automated type where no ice or salt is used because it had its own chilling capabilities. What I was searching for was a place where i could go, an ice cream parlor, to enjoy a high quality ice cream without going the the process of making it myself.
