let me say this........i have to move around equipment frequently......i don't like being bounced around in taxis with my back problems.......i've been stuck with no taxis available in the rain........i don't feel comfortable with that gas tank in back of the seat in some taxis, especially with the way these guys drive......my driver can drop me off and then wait for me until i'm ready to leave a place and that is convenient......we have a finca two hours away from bogota that you can't access without a 4 wheel drive.......and best of all, you know the low price i paid for this beauty.....

i've discussed this subject with rubito many times.......i don't think i'll ever convince anybody, but it makes me feel good to have a car.

Absolutely Morphs,.............also, most of the taxis in Medellin are equipped with heat seeking missiles..............they are triggered after the driver gets the Gringo passenger to answer his cell phone.

The missile is then launched from within the trunk and totally anillates the passanger.......resulting in dollar bills flying through the air and landing in the crater on the street..............Taxi, driver,passanger......everything is reduced to dust..........only the dollar bills remain intact.....................

I know it's true because people here have told me...........and it's been on the news and in the papers.

They simply asked me approx what time I entered, calculated what my normal charges would be, and added on a small flat fee for the lost ticket, something like 5 mil. It was a lot less hassle than I expected. Took about 10 minutes total.

Oh, they also required me to show them my car ownership document to prove it was really mine.
