Hi, does anyone have the slightest idea of what type of mobile phones can be used in colombia ( I do not mean roaming service, i mean the actual handset) Does the phone have to be dual band, triband, or ???/
I have samsung E700 and i really need to know if i can use this phone in colombia

Malito71 says on May 25, 2005, 12:29: Not sure about Colombia but Panama uses the 800 gsm band only. Quad band phone will work but tri band that use 900/1800/1900 will not. Most cingular phones are tri band 800/1800/1900 but T-mobile uses the 900/1800/1900. You can do a search online to find out which band is used in Colombia.
