I'm just an ordinary guy, from Europe and retired with my Colombian wife in Colombia. For reasons of tax liabilities in Europe I need to produce tax declarations from my place of residence, Colombia.
Thus, apparently unlike most of you I regularly submit a truthful declaration of my incomes and patrimony here in Colombia even though the amounts I am concerned with attract no local tax liabilities. As my Spanish is not so good and everything to do with Colombian tax legislation seems impossible I USE A LOCAL TAX ACCOUNTANT.
This year he upped his fee to 600,000 pesos for producing 2 tax declarations, one for me and one for my wife, both essentially identical.
What do you think about the fees? Is this a rip-off?
Don't bother to tell me I could do it for myself for nothing....I am numerically illiterate.
