What is the most "exclusive" "elegant" "sought after" "beverly hills" part of Medellin to live?

Lets say money is not an option but you require being in the most affluent, safe, part of Medellin?

Where would you live?

What building if you know?

Where would the King of Spain live? Madonna? Donald Trump live?

They say that the top 1% have all the money in Medellin..........where do the top 1% of the top 1% live?

Thanks!

The one and ONLY........ El Poblado. there are about one million buildings, (I am a Paisa, we exaggerate) You better go to a hotel then you go from there. Madonna would stay in "El Poblado" of course. Go to EL Dan, it is a very nice hotel there, drive around and ask.

Do you want to rent and apt? what do you want to do?
wait a while and people here will tell you in detail.
Good luck!

You have to see the homes NOT the buildings that are in El Poblado. The old homes, from the real nice well to do people, not the mafiosos, they are huge, with swimming pool, tennis Cort, beautiful landscapings, some even have horses. those are by the Intercontinental Hotel (las tranversales) And I KNOW first hand of some new gorgeous homes by El Tesoro, on the hills, they all have marble floors and are incredible elegant with the view of the city and mountains, just spectacular!!!!.
For a third world country it is our Beverly Hills.
Beverly Hills is Beverly Hills here in L.A. and it is incredible wealthy, we all know that.
And remember I can help you buy a new home anywhere in Medellin, an apt or a condo or house, in many 'different' areas and prices.
Any body serious have to p/m me.
I am having a hunch this post is a "troll".

Nice fincas, but way way out of my league financially. And even if I made multi-millions and decided to retire in Colombia for the chucha [sorry, couldn't resist :0) ], I doubt I'd go that high-end. As GIB says, I'd rather have the freedom to associate and hang out wherever and with whomever I want, not to mention I think it's a good idea for ex-pats in general to keep a low profile but especially in Colombia for the obvious reasons. Sure the country is safer in recent years, but why push your luck, and who knows, in the future it could regress back a little bit.

SoundsGood, probably your best bet is a new apartment in Poblado with all the amenities but you don't have to go overboard. I once rented for a week a HUUGE duplex penthouse in Poblado (it was actually a great deal) and when my taxi driver brought my luggage up (he insisted by the way) his jaw dropped to the floor, but I didn't like his reaction because I got the feeling he would never interact with me the same way again (and I had been planning to use him quite a bit that week). If everyone thinks you're filthy rich, that can turn out to be a problem down there. You could end up hemorrhaging pesos left and right.

In San Diego show you will get 2 girls for 140k Enrique... I still think its a waste a money to get laid by a prepago. It's much cheaper if you find some chick at a club, invite her to a hamburger in la 33 and then take her on a ride to punto cero for 6 hours... then chao pescado and you still have about 50k left.

Maybe John, but it is a typical Medellin fact that deserves an explanation.
The base price of Punto Cero, which is the best love motel in Medellin, includes 6 hours.
In Cartagena (La Cangreja), Barranquilla (El Faraon, Palacio Persa), Santa Marta (La Hacienda), the base price (cheaper) includes two hours.
What about other towns?

She found an apartment for them to stay and she had him on leash for the whole stay. She did'nt charge him and also gave him bareback service. He fell in love. Even prepagos have to get married sometime. They need love too. As they get older, they have to start charging less. After a while it makes economic sense for them to get married because they can no longer compete with the younger prepagos. I wonder how many gringos have married prepagos without knowing it? Probably a lot. I guess it does'nt matter anyway. If the woman is'nt a virgin then whats the difference?
