What happened to UC's thread about brujería??

Is it gone, or do I just need some of el Feliz's medication?

Beats me. I guess that sound you hear is the sound of goose-stepping moderators shouting "Seig Heil". PBsH is where you come for the sanitized version of things - gets more and more like ColombianBlog every day.

Nope Peter wrote a message earlier today that almost one full day of literature was lost because of a software upgrade or conversion or something like that.

Not sure if it posted, but to battle a bruja in Mexico, you need to use a curandera (a good witch) to do your fighting for you. Dont know if there are curanderas or curanderos in Colombia...i had to hire one to ward off my evil ex-wife!!! jajajjaja....

Just my opinion...and brought to you by the lowest of the low, and foul

MC, in your case, the curandero.... in Colombia would be called a sicario;)

Miguel_Clavo says on Apr 6, 2007, 16:06:

I know, Billy! Where are all those sicarios when you need them?? Probabaly at some donut or arepa shop, pigging out! Damn, never can find one when i need them! jajajaj...christ! somewhere i have heard that line before! =)

anyway, i remember my grandmother telling me that some Catholics will bury a small statue of St. Joseph, get this, UPSIDE DOWN, in the ground for protection and to grant their prayers.....never could figure out why it had to be upside down, though....she didnt know either.....

burying St. Joseph UPSIDE DOWN well, damn; that beats 'not stepping on cracks in the sidewalk'.

y, un mil gracias.

Miguel_Clavo says on Apr 6, 2007, 23:15:

what is really weird, thought, EF, is that my mothers condo was for sale last year in Orange County (southern Calif), and the real estate market was declining, so she had very few offers on it....well, she buried old St Joe upside down in her backyard patio, and wouldnt you know it, it sold 2 weeks later!! kinda spooky, huh?

hate brujeria I had a Panamanian girlfriend who used to go to the bruja. She would get her cards read and sometime it would end up like this, I would come home from work and she would be all pissed off. I'd ask her what was wrong and she would say the bruja "read" in the cards that I had done something wrong. I was all like, so let me get this right, I worked all day, you went to this Dominican chick and paid her $20 to have her tell you that I did something wrong? Great...the other funny thing was that on New Year's Eve, she asked me to take a shower with her where she wanted to pour sugar and rum on us to wash away the bad spirits. Well, I wasn't really believing about the spirits, but it was a pretty good shower.

goin_south says on Apr 7, 2007, 08:09:

damn; my chiquita in Pasto don't need no bruja.. she's got that good ol fashion intuition...lol, but that's funny jay.

y, un mil gracias.

utopiacowboy says on Apr 7, 2007, 13:16:

All I can say is if a chick thinks I've sinned I better go and make sure that she's got plenty of reason to believe it.
