What Colombian city does this building make you think of?

Just curious to see if anyone else thinks of the same place I did:

This is clearly a photo of Ulan Bator, outer Mongolia.I had a Mongolian girlfriend once and she told me that Mongolians are very partical to Juan Valdes coffee with their yaks milk and often have Colombian coffee with goat's heart for a caffine fix to start the day at breakfast time.

I'd say Manizales although it obviously isn't in Colombia from the Charbucks sign. :P

Johnny HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA! The taxi on the roof of the building is the best... "amigo todo bien, I know a great short cut, este es de amistad marica" HAHAHAHAHAHAH

It does. Seems like every mixed-use development around here looks just like that one.

They'd be nuts not to put commercial space on the ground floor on what is obviously a commercial street, but you might be right.

don't i get a prize for getting the city right? now you want to corner me.....aargh!

dear, i don't know my way around bogota very well. kinda avoided it all these years. (spoiled paisa kinda thing)

the reason i chose bogota--and you remember this--about a year ago--mas o menos--a poster who was an architect and student of architecture did a whole post, several of them actually, on the architecture in bogota and corbusierism, art deco and bauhaus schools that influenced much of the apts in bogota. (hope i got that right) si o no?

Now where is the original city the photo was taken in? My guess is Vancouver because of the mountains in the background and the traffic signs.

Medellin pops my head when I first saw the picture.....

I don't think this building belongs to any cities with 'hot' weather.

It could be in Bogota- estrato 5-6 area. Mid-North area
