miamimike says on Aug 16, 2006, 20:57: In the almost 2 years posting here,,,, I wonder how the Colombian Women feel to know this is the main reason many foreign males pursue them. I doubt if the question has ever been raised here on PBH ; where you may find the most Artistic, well educated Colombian women with the highest IQ. ect. It appears many are more interested in a Stephford Type Wife,,,,, "Wait a minute. What did you just say? You're predicting $4-a-gallon gas? ... That's interesting. Blue says on Aug 17, 2006, 10:01: Many would say that intelligence would follow a standard normal distribution and therefore no one city would have an advantage over the other. You could, however, argue possibly that Bogota has more educated women but of course this begs the question since education doesn’t necessarily equate to native ability. Some would argue that areas with the greatest concentration of “European white blood would have the most intelligent women. These people would probably be considered racists. lol

Lauthra says on Aug 17, 2006, 11:27: I agree with Rubiazo the Bogotá it's the most cultural city in Colombia, and yes you may find the most educated people here, but then the women in other cities would be at a disadvantage. The women in Bogotá may have more opportunities to access education, it doesn't mean the other women in Colombian aren't smart, though not educated. I've always believed there are various types of intelligence. Someone in Bogotá may be able to talk about art or politics, but someone en el campo may be able to make a crop succesful and feed her family. Nato (='.'=) |

. says on Aug 17, 2006, 11:43: Lauthra I would not say that! I think Manizales has the most smartest woman in Colombia, the number of universities in Manizales for every 10.000 habitants is the highest in Colombia, and 48.5% of students are women! the education is great over there. My vote is for manizales.

Colombiche says on Aug 17, 2006, 19:34: It's not like Bogota is the only bastion of opportunity in Colombia, there are many universities in other colombian cities, and as jpbadillo mentioned, Manizales actually has the highest number of universities per capita. The city is packed with students from all over Colombia. It's really a university town. No me den trago extranjero, que es caro y no sabe a bueno.... (Rafael Godoy) |

elmodefoque says on Aug 18, 2006, 12:19: Desi, I don’t understand why I always end up with real smart chicks. Ok, I’m not the brightest bulb in the pack but I do have some street smarts. This last one, my young ex cachaca wife. One day we were partying all over Cartagena and curramba having a great time. I was nearing middle age and never once gotten married or cared to marry. A few days later after I got back home I’m putting papers in to get her ass here, 4 months later she’s kicking my kids outta the apt. How the fu-k did all that happen? Was I blinded by her t-ts and ass? over 5 million colombianos in USA and only 27 barranquilleros, i'm one.Curramba, el mejor vividero del mundo! |

GHERRERA says on Aug 18, 2006, 21:17: Invisalign I am from Bogota and I am planning a trip to go to Bogota Coloambia. I am looking to get Invisalign. Scott you were asking about doctors in Medellin. Why Medellin and not Bogota? I have family in Bogota and tha is why I would like to do it in Bogota. I just got a quote from a dentist here in WA state and is very expensive. I am not sure how long I have to stay in order to complete the treatment. I undrestand that anyone that starts the treatment has to come back to the doctor's office to make changes. For how long?I am not sure. Please help if you know or recomend a doctor Ortodoncista.

. says on Aug 19, 2006, 00:36: KAT Kat, how ever, you are right by saying that there are people with degrees and do not know anything!, I have the case of several university educated women, but when you talk to them, is like talking to a bunch of brainless monkeys without any trace of professionalism, and at the same time, I know so many men who did not finish high school but they speak as if they were educated at PHD level and they are very professionals. The Universities do not make people intelligent; intelligence is the way a person is able to survive. For me an example of an intelligent person is a lonely Colombian countrywoman who has left the country life because of the war, then she has to survive with her children in the city, and she does! They are the real challengers!, I would like to see an spoil person leaving under the same circumstances who has got everything because his or her parents give her (him) everything and has high levels of scholarship, I do not think they will get that long!. The only challenge they can make is to wake up in the morning, have a great breakfast, put the tennis shoes on and say…. today I will run 1 mile more than yesterday. The intelligent person is easy to recognise, they are usually very quiet, they do not show off what they have, they never speak abut what they have achieved, they control their mood and they give a lot of love and joy, TRUST ME, IT’S NOT ME!
