It has become increasingly clear to me I need to move to a "hotel apartment" for the first while in Medellin.
Can someone recommend a few of the better hotels in Poblado area, which might offer "apartment style" rooms with kitchens, washer / dryer, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc, etc where I could live for 2 months?
Location, security, and being very nice/upscale are important to me.

MatthewGal says on Dec 27, 2007, 13:12: Hi. ha ha, it´s between 1,800.000 to around 4,000.000 per month, i know what you are saying guys and i know you can pic a place up for less (1,200,000 ) but these are high quality places in Poblado fully furnished with everything uncluded, and correct me if i´m worng but TY did say that he wanted "Location, security, and being very nice/upscale very important". You would have to see them before commenting on how high the price is, no?

dwmte7 says on Dec 28, 2007, 07:04: i don't remember if they had 'conveniences', but i lived a month and a half at the intercontinental hotel in las palmas and never lacted anything. sure it was expensive, by any standard--$5,500,00--but the service was excellent, everything was available on demand, at a moments notice and i didn't need anything that they couldn't provide. it served until i got my condo and then later my home in poblado. if you're gonna put out $$$ in poblado for your residence, i personally recommend getting a house and having your privacy. those condo towers and town homes are just to congested with other folks. dwmte 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

goin_south says on Dec 28, 2007, 11:39: check the Park 10 Hotel.. It doesn't get any better than that. It's a few blocks from parque lleras, and sort of on a quiet corner... up on a hill side. Two-story suites.. really nice inside. Total class and luxury. Some say: All things are better in...Medellin! ....Oscar Lopez just says it's better.....LATE!!! eltoro says on Jan 23, 2008, 09:07: Mitch.... it's not advertisement. I have no affiliation with him. I went there and had a great time and felt it was totally worth $65 a day. What's the difference between an apartment and a restaurant that is so often recommended on this site? And what are you talking about being crazy and cheating people to pay $65 a day? Loosen that tie of yours, take a chill pill and relax.
