ı'm a Turkish girl living in Istanbul,i'm offered an internship by an international company in Bogota, when i first heard about it,i was really excited and didn't hesitate to accept,i told to my parents that i really wanted to go and everyone is so supportive about it,i'll be there probably about in a month and for eight months,i heard about the issues about safety in Colombia but i'm not feeling scared cause i'm familiar with the situation,Istanbul is a big big city too and if you don't have common sense, you may not survive,it is something you have to know in every big city i would believe in nothing without seeing somewhere myself cause people love to make up stories! So I'm just not worried about my safety in Bogota, but there are other things i really want to know,so please the people who know Bogota very well help me out with my questions...First of all,is it easy to date in Bogota,i already met some Colombian guys, they were cool but i really want to know if they are generally to trust and if they can be real machos...The other thing ,are there so many foreigners living in Bogota, and how about the weather, what kind of clothes should i take with me?Is it ok to be well dressed when going to work(since some say it can be dangerous to be in good clothes but i'm gonna be working in a good company)and what about the food? The last thing i would like to know is if i can find any job for the weekend,i speak very well spanish, french and italian as well i need to support my family so could i find a job in tourism for the weekends?

jbk0904 says on Sep 23, 2005, 17:47: Lovely Turkish people I had a Turkish roomate when I was in school in Miami, where I live now. That was quite a long time ago. He was the best roommate that I had. We got along very well each other. He loved Colombian women in Miami. I am sure that Turkish culture can adopt Colombian very well. Myself go to Colombia almost every 50 days for business and pleasure. Bogota is pretty safer than before. You know the big city, where to go, where not to go. Wherever you go, it is up to you. Here many people like Sidneygirl gives you very practical advise for you. They are good people there. You will love that city like Instanbul that is a pearl of south Europe. As a matter of facts, I am going over there on Oct. 13th. This is my 5th trips to Bogota this year. Adopt yourself into the city and enjoy yourself and learn different culture. You are the choosen one to go there from your country. Good luck and let me know how things are going in the future.

utopiacowboy says on Sep 24, 2005, 16:01: Finally, a chick who posts her pics on the site. Damm. Not just yeah but hell yeah. Wait until Elmo sees these. You are truly a Turkish Delight. Are a lot of the Turkish chicks as attractive as you? Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

gecho says on Oct 18, 2005, 02:32: more advices As I red in your post, you speak spanish. I hope you read spanish as well.
