Aeropostal no more to Medellin.. Was trying to get to Isla Margarita and I just called and said they are stopping that route from Medellin to Caracas..
So now to get to Isla Margarita form Medellin will have to fly to Bogota or Panama and then to Caracas and then to Porlamar thats a shame
A whole day wasted...to get to Isla Margarita...
I wonder why Aeropostal was not getting enough business on Caracas Medellin Route and she told me they are also stopping the Bogota route soon...
San Andres is looking better...Direct flight with Aero Republica from Medellin..

droble77 says on Jul 31, 2007, 13:34: Hasn't been a lot of good news for Aeropostal lately. They've suspended routes to Aruba, Curacao, Bogota, Medellin, Lima, Havana. Haven't followed all the details but if I recall correctly, I remember reading somewhere the reason is the Venezuelan Govt. isn't giving them access to foreign currency, so they can no longer pay the leases for some of the planes used on those routes.
