I need a bit of web design work in Bogota.
More specifically . . . CSS, Flash, maybe some Java, etc.
Any recommendations for a professional & reasonably priced person or company?
Thanks!

CatGirl says on Jun 7, 2008, 19:48: twmcm: I don't know much about what constitutes a web designer actually, but we do have a few posters here that seem to be fairly good with this type of stuff. Only members that come to mind are Webman, Rociante and Mario (?) that seem to be saavy in this area or might know someone to help you. Good luck...I think ..Purrr Love and Time: the only two things that cannot be bought, but only spent 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Lostgringo says on Jun 10, 2008, 17:06: I am having a number of websites "developed" here in the Philippines. They are being built with PHP scripting designed for Web 2.0 specifically and with a MYSQL data base. Also, CSS. I can refer you to the person who does this for me. This is high end scripting that is needed if you are looking for any kind of presence on the Web. Anyone can build or design a website but if you want quality especially if you want to expand or sell a product on the internet you need someone to develop a website from the ground up. In my humble opinion. And, Flash, Java and Javax will slow down the loading of your website, so you need it done by someone who knows what they are doing. So why get it done in the Philippines? English language is prevalent here and there are lots of programmers who offer their services for a good price. Your Home Away from Home www.welovebogota.com and www.apartmentinbogota.com "Luxury apartments and rooms Cheap" Only 2 blocks from the American Embassy! 24/7 hour security. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

getting better says on Jun 26, 2008, 13:58: I need a lot of website design work done for several websites in Colombia, the UK and the USA. I have used a Colombian company before and the quality of work was high, as good as companies I have used in the UK. On the other hand they were bad at communicating and legalistic about small changes to the specification, not very flexible at all, and occasionally quite rude.

johnny2008 says on Oct 2, 2008, 07:37: Colombian gringo, you have NOT seen major government websites of the UK not working, nor the website of the capital's mass transit system not functioning correctly nor a website of a seemingly professional company of computer engineers not working. And I cannot think of any other country in the world where their flag carrying airline's website does not work.
