Weather

My trip to Colombia begins Monday, with lots of plans for trekking (e.g. El Cocuy). This is supposed to be the "dry" season, but everywhere I look on weather sites it is wet, wet, wet in most places. Is this unusual? What is the longer term forecast (through February)? I'd appreciate any weather info anyone can provide. I don't much like walking in cold rain. Muchas gracias.

I'll be in Colombia starting Wednesday. I'd like to do some backpacking too. Not sure what I am doing, just playing it by ear. Maybe I'll see you around. haha. Later

Yahoo! Weather for Cali shows Scattered T-storms every single day of the year, even though it may not have rained for months.

In any case, be prepared for cold weather, depending on the elevation you plan on trekking in.

In a nation ruled by swine, all pigs are upwardly mobile.
