watching the Super Bowl in Barranquilla?

Guys, I will be in Barranquilla during Carnaval and just realized a couple weeks ago that the Super Bowl falls on that Sunday. My sister-in-law (in Barranquilla) said that there's a bar (El Mundo de Cerveza?) that usually carries American football, but she went there and asked and they said they won't have football on during Carnaval. I'll be staying at an apartment and don't know if there is any satellite/cable hookup.

Is there a gringo bar or somewhere anyone knows of that will be showing the game?

Thanks,
-Z

Not certain about Barranquilla, but in nearby Cartagena I've been able to watch the Super Bowl every year I've been here on regular cable TV (Costavision). They only show about half the playoff games (like SD/Indy and NE/Jags last week end, no Dal/NY or Seattle/GB).
But they always show the Super Bowl live.

The problem is the Super Bowl seems to be on FOX this year although NFL.com doesn´t show that fact anywhere. So as of now and according to espn.com Lat. Am programming, it is NOT on ESPN Latin America (nor espn2 or espn down here). If it is only on Fox Sports North down here, it will only be available via Direc TV channel 606 in spanish. But maybe with such significance, even Fox Sports south (which I like to call Maradona Fox Sports) will carry it. Fox Sports south is what UNE, Cable Pacifico, Direct TV channel 604, etc. carry. The fox sports north direc tv ch. 606 had the other half of the games that ESPN Lat. Am. didnt carry. I have only seen commercials promoting the super bowl on fox sports north direc tv ch. 606. So look for a place with direc tv! BTW in Medellin at my sports bar, I will be showing on 3 big projection screens. (I have 2 and will be renting a 3rd)

There is a sports themed bar called Henry´s on carrera 53-80. some american friends of mine go there to watch games. Worth a look but on the saturday of Carnaval, not many people will be thinking about the superbowl!!!

La Troja is the place to be on Sunday (not for the game, but for the festivities)?
