wow, you're going for bargain basement prices. I heard of a 3 bedroom upstairs apartment being rented for 800.000/month in Chapinero - just below the septima on calle 56 I believe. but I doubt you'd want to live there with kids. estrato 4, 3 bedroom, I think you'd be lucky if you found something for 1 million/month (before admin).

That area is full of hookers, scammers and transvestites I went there once looking at an apartment for sale really nice place huge and cheap but who wants to deal with that all day.

Hi geoff:

Try this website www.welovbogota.com or www.apartmentinbogota..com. You will find this gal has 3 different fully furnished apartments she rents in Bogota, Colombia. Luxury apartments but bargain rates. You really can't go wrong either with the location. They are all close to shopping malls, restaurants and the like.

Have a great time in Bogota. I am now in Angeles City, Philippines.

You can find a 3 bedroom in Cedritos (calle 140-147 between Carrera 7-19) for about 1 million. I would not live at estrato 3 but it is just me. Cedritos is estrato 4.
