Wackyness in full force at the Bogota help center No packets

I have not received packet 3 and the mail system in Colombia has a reputation of not delivering the mail. I took care of this by submitting packet 3 on my own and not waiting for the embassy to send it. The interviews for March were updated and I missed the cut . So today I called the embassy which has a pin system and I payed to talk to them about my interview date/time. I was told that they have no access to this information and to wait for packet 4. I said if you don't update the site like you did for March until Feb 28th how are people who have march 1 -5 appts. supposed to make the interview if they never got packet 4 or a date for the interview. They were dumb founded and told me you would have to probably reschedule.....it absolutely amazing. Clown logic

Anyone ever run into a similar problem. How do you get info about your interview if Packet 4 does a no show and no one will give you info. I could see a March 31 update on the website with an April 1 interview date and the only one who knows about it is the person who entered it into the system

Hi El Escéptico,

This is a part of my timeline;

01-13-06 - K-1 Petition Arrived at US Embassy in Bogotá, Colombia.
01-19-06 - Johanna Faxed & Sent by Courier (Passport Copy, OF-169, DS-2001 & DS-230 part 1).
01-23-06 - Johanna received packet 3.
01-30-06 - Johanna received packet 4.

It took 10 day from the time the package got to the U.S. Embassy in Bogotá, Colombia until Johanna received it and it took 11 day from when they got the required documents until Johanna received it. I bet she will probably receive it by the beginning of next week.

The visa office has access to interview dates and time scheduled for all visas. And it's free to talk to them. Try calling them at 202-663-1225.

Good luck,

Bitch them out to both your US Senators and your congressman. Anybody from the US embassy who is reading this, YOU ARE WORTHLESS FLOATING TURDS IN THE TOILET BOWL OF LIFE. We keep flushing but you won't go down. It disgusts me to think one centavo of my tax dollars goes to pay for such a disgraceful group of morons. YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES!!!!!

Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult.

An embarasment to the U.S. And to speak with people from our own U.S. Embassy or Consulate we have to buy a “Pin” and then they do not answer a dam thing. They will not answer e-mails or faxes. They also make their own rules and change them as they go without letting us know. I could go talking crap about them all day. And to think that my fellow Marines, guard this piece of crap place pisses me off!
