====================================================================

There are several international versions of The Amazing Race. Their production is on a much smaller scale than the American version with less prize money, etc. but the basic concept of the show is the same.

The link in the original post is for the Latin American version.

Thanks Terry, I'm a big fan of the Amercian version and would love to see all those schizophrenic gringos traveling through Colombia.

I'm a fan of the show too - I've worked on several segments over the past few years.

Honestly though, I don't see Colombia as being a particular hassle for the participants - especially since this is for the Latin American version of the show where all contestants speak Spanish. Colombia would be a bit of a cake walk, actually.

Generally Asia and the Indian Subcontinent are much more difficult than anything in the Western Hemisphere...

Well, that's the part I love about it, whenever you see the couple who was in first place end up last because their get a cab driver doesn't speak English. That show rocks!!! =)

"... I think this competition will be a latinamerican one. So probably no gringos..."

=========================================

I've already stated that twice in this thread. This is NOT the North American version of TAR.

Oh noooooo, that's a total loser show. I've only seen bits and pieces of it on "The Soup" on E! and those guys are just pathetic.
