Volunteer in Cartagena

I'm looking at moving to Colombia in the next few months. I really want to live and work part time in Cartagena and volunteer time teaching English and helping families in need.

I've contacted a few volunteer programmes but does anyone know more? I need to earn enough money to live while I volunteer my time for the rest of the week so I#m also looking for part time work. I'm a qualified teacher.

Any help? Advice??
