Greetings everyone! Well I am proud to say that all the Christmas gifts that I sent to Colombia have reached their destinations. Amazing! I sent a large box containing tennis shoes, socks and a back pack to my friend Rosalta in Barranquilla and it arrived one month later. But it arrived! Then I sent a Canon Digital Camera and a Digital Language Translator to my friend Dayanira in Santa Marta and it actually made it as well in just over two weeks. And that was using just straight up U.S.Postal via Air mail. However, It was explained to me that if you send packages USA to Colombia U.S.Postal Global Priority it is safer and much faster four to six days counter to counter. I am about due for my Colombian fix (not drug related) Will be in Barranquilla and Santa Marta for spring break in March. Viva Colombia!

Will they Guaranttee the shipment? I want to send some things to my Fiance, but I am not sure if she will get the things I want to send.

crazi4cali says on Feb 10, 2006, 00:21: You are Lucky! I have sent several packages via USPS Air Mail and they seem to have a 50-75% chance of getting there. Last year, I sent Christmas gifts for my wife (then fiancee) and her son. The packages NEVER got to her. I have recently sent four small boxes on Dec 4, 10, 19, 28. Only Dec 4 & 28 have arrived to Cali so far! I don't have a bunch of options (I'm in Iraq now) so, I am very hesitant to send anything of value & don't claim the actual value on the outside of the box! = ( I wish i had YOUR luck "b bruce"
