My finacee is appling for a 6 month fiancee visa soon and we are starting to prepare for this by gethering all the documnets. i want to try anf help her as much as i can. i would be delighted if someone could tell me what type of questions will be asked at her interview with the embassy staff, I am from the Uk and she will be going to the British embassy in bogota. Is the interview very difficult.
I would just like to know what type of questions are asked so i can prepare her. Any help would be grately appreciated

Roncita says on Aug 3, 2005, 10:45: Hi, I went with my Colombian husband to the British embassy in Bogota earlier this year for him to get his UK residency visa for 2 years so I haven't been through the fiance route, but I can tell you from my experience she will need to show she can support herself economically while she's in the UK, or that you can - either with a letter from your company saying that you work for them, how much you earn etc, or a letter from her company if she has one. I think you might also need to show proof that you have somewhere to live.
