Rob77 says on Oct 1, 2007, 06:20: Pretty heavy stuff to read about for people not used to living in a country in a continual, violent war. And the worst part is that it's nowhere near over. The kidnappings, assasinations and live dismemberments continue to this day. The difference between the time when these stories ocurred and now is that the guerrillas are moving in more limited areas, focused more on drug cultivation, and the paras have changed their names and formed new groups (Aguilas Negras, etc), doing business as usual, with new leaders.
