VERY short notice flights

I know we've talked about this before, but I need help with searching for airfare. I just accepted a new job, and I have 2 weeks until I start. I want to spend those 2 weeks in Colombia, so I need to find airfare on an extremely short notice. Any suggestions on where to look? Cheap Tickets is usually good, but only with at least a week before the trip.

Azul just go to Kayak.com. They compare all the airlines. They are accurate but I think you have a good price already.

Find the Routes first from Seattle Then go direct to the airlines and they try to kayak or expedia..or even try www.costamar.com for South American Flights..

I would say, go direct with the airlines! I got a ticket using Continental from Newark to Bogota and Avianca to Cartagena with less than a day's notice in mid Jan. 2006.

Thanks all! I just bought my tickets through Cheap Tickets, $542. Not to bad for under a weeks notice. The big problem ended up being flight schedules, not pricing. The important thing is, I WILL BE IN COLOMBIA NEXT WEEK!!!!

Cheap tickets Now, after I bought my ticket, the prices suddenly plummet. I found one on Orbitz for $540 from DFW-BOG. Maybe I'll remember this next summer and wait a little longer to buy my ticket....Darn the luck!!!
