VERY short notice flights

I know we've talked about this before, but I need help with searching for airfare. I just accepted a new job, and I have 2 weeks until I start. I want to spend those 2 weeks in Colombia, so I need to find airfare on an extremely short notice. Any suggestions on where to look? Cheap Tickets is usually good, but only with at least a week before the trip.

Fare Compare I have been using Farecompare.com on my computer. But cannot say for sure that they give the absolute least expensive.

Azul just go to Kayak.com. They compare all the airlines. They are accurate but I think you have a good price already.

Find the Routes first from Seattle Then go direct to the airlines and they try to kayak or expedia..or even try www.costamar.com for South American Flights..

Go Direct! Hola!

I would say, go direct with the airlines! I got a ticket using Continental from Newark to Bogota and Avianca to Cartagena with less than a day's notice in mid Jan. 2006.

Thanks all! I just bought my tickets through Cheap Tickets, $542. Not to bad for under a weeks notice. The big problem ended up being flight schedules, not pricing. The important thing is, I WILL BE IN COLOMBIA NEXT WEEK!!!!

Cheap tickets Now, after I bought my ticket, the prices suddenly plummet. I found one on Orbitz for $540 from DFW-BOG. Maybe I'll remember this next summer and wait a little longer to buy my ticket....Darn the luck!!!
