Utterly shameless self-promotion

Well, not entirely without shame... but some folks around these parts have enjoyed my Colombia photo gallery at www.pbase.com/goosekirk, so I figure someone might be interested in this. My family was bugging me to make a calendar for 2005 from my photos, so I finally got around to it. A day late and a dollar short, sure, but just in case anyone around here is still in the market for a calendar, I put my Colombia 2005 model up at www.cafepress.com/goosekirk. It's my first attempt at "commercializing" my work, so if y'all could buy, oh, a couple or eight dozen each, it would really boost my fragile ego. And any proceeds will go to the inevitably necessary bail fund, so it's for a goo.. well, it's for a cause, at least.

Say, that's a good question - do they have bail in Colombia? Where's Elmo when you need 'em...

(Sorry for undercutting you like this, Alex, but it is a competitive marketplace.)

The toucan, by the way, lives in the courtyard at the Santa Clara hotel in Cartagena. It just hangs out wherever. Worth a visit there just to look for it!
