USCIS request for info

This is for my I-129f Spousal Visa. I know I sent them everything that they requesed based upon the info I received on visajourney.com. Can someone please tell me what else could they possibly want from me.

Probably for something that you already sent them and that they lost like a divorce certificate or marriage certificate etc. Of course it could be something else. Please let us know when you get the RFE.

Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult.

When you get the RFE They'll tell you EXACTLY what they want. Just send it to them...and keep a copy of the letter as well as everything you send them.

Im such an idiot The missing evidence that they wanted was something I accidently left out. I forgot to send a translation of my marriage certificicate, I'm so pissed at myself. I sent it with the I-130 but forgot to send it with the I-129f. I wonder how much longer this is gonna delay the process.

The fact that you got an RFE means that it is on somebody's desk being worked. If you get the translation in quickly, I think you should get an approval shortly thereafter.

For me... I got an RFE for a translation as well. I knew I would, but I didn't have the translation and wanted to get the process rolling. We got the translation done between the time I sent the AOS application in and got the RFE so I put the RFE and translation in the mail the next day. I can't say how long it held things up, but my guess it wasn't more than the week or two it took for them to send me the letter and me to send it back (figuring about 3 days for the mail to go from one place to the next).

Like UTC, says, it really is a good sign that you got an RFE because it means that someone is working on it and it isn't just sitting on a desk. Once they start processing an application, I think they would rather finish it up and send it along instead of letting it languish in a pile somewhere. So agree that it'll probably be on it's way once everything is in order.

I just got an Email from USCIS stating Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

On March 20, 2006, we received your response to our request for
evidence or information. It is taking between 60 and 90 days for us to process
this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete,
the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in
this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

Does anyone know how much more time before I get a final decision.
The good new is I sent out the additional evidence on Tuesday and they have already have updated on today.
