US, Colombia choked rebels' communications network

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080710/ap_on_re_la_am_ca/colombia_choking...

Amazing. Slowly the media is getting a hold of the details of this massive operation that took place. This will make one incredible movie. I can't wait.

If that's true, then US and Colombia have telephone conversations between FARC and Venezuela and maybe with Ecuador too.
Enough details to prosecute in the International court.

It's all good!

Don't care about some stupid movie though-the history we're living today is a million times more interesting than some stupid celluloid fantasy.

Very true Sam. However, we are following the history being made daily, but many others are not. A movie will potentially be seen by millions and they will finally know the real Colombia as we know it and not some stereotypical ideas that they may have.

I worry that the movie will be inaccurate...like many movies which are designed to put butts in seats not to tell the truth.

monpirri, the US does not believe in the international court.

The value of this tactic must have disappeared...it seems strange that they would leak this information if it was still useful.

Cacique- what is the truth?

I hear ya, romy; however, I am speaking about blatant distortions. For example, Zapata starring Marlon Brando. Somebody decided that it would be cool not only to make the character of Emiliano Zapata illiterate but also President. WTF?
