US chains in Medellin

Are there any US fast food or restaurant chains in Medellin? If so, which ones?

McDonalds, KFC, Burger King, Dominos, and Dunkin Donuts.

Some still say that the Holy Grail of all Fat Ass Americano Chains is to come "HOOTERS"...

That's up from four when I last looked at the Subway site a couple of years ago.

I **think** the Baskin Robbins franchisor is back in American hands after being part of a large British company for a few years.

Lol, Hooters in Medellin....that could be interesting, that being said the only one I've been to was Mall of America, Minneapolis, so maybe that wasn't the best place to be judged. My food cost the same as my giant beer, and the waitresses were nothing to write home about, just wore skimpy outfits.

As far as the question goes, I recall seeing Dunkin Donuts, Mcdonalds (saw em both in Medellin, but if your in El Dorado Airport, Bogota, their both there too) and Dominoes. I went to McDonalds once, to check it out, wasn't super busy, and wasn't anything different like it is when you go to Europe. Dominoes was quite good, IF you like their pizza to begin with. I generally do, and then they had different toppings you might not find in the US, or at least different combinations, I recall having pizza at Carrefour, I forget the name, and it was edible but otherwise awful, wasn't at all like pizza. There's a Dominoes in Poblado and then there's one in a CC near the Sporting School by the stadium (forgive my ignorance I can't remember the name).

No matter where you go, the Korean tour bus isn't far behind.

Thanks all! I've been living in Bucaramanga for awhile and we don't have any US chains here so when I am in MED next month I want to get my fix. Glad to hear Dominoes is good there. It tops my list.

Steven- Archies has made it to the US. You can find several in the south east.

Good reason to be in Bucaramanga! NO American fast food chains. How far do I have to travel to get away from this chit?

Same with Villavicencio quantum. No US fast food chains. At least that I saw. The last place I would want to eat in Colombia is at a BK or McDs.

Hooters has strikenly similar rules to strip joints in florida. Look but dont touch. Girls Not allowed to give out phone numbers, although you can give them yours.

They still have those stupid orange shorts that went out of style in the early 90s. Well i guess hooters is a family restuarant! right !!

Those shorts are wacked. Move in to the next century.

Sorry this is supposed to be fashion capital so those out of style shorts need to take a hike.

WITH AMERICAN FAST FOOD CHAINS COMES HIGH COLESTEROL AND LARGER PORTIONS AND HIGHER RATES OF CORONARY DISEASE.

im not saying that empanadas dont have enough fat in them. ejejejeje
