Directly pegged to the Dollar/Euro which is directly tied to the price of oil which is down another $2 so far today.

Note that the Dollar is making gains on the Euro big time right now. From a 63 cent bottom now pushing 70 cents.

Also note the EURO is also showing gains against the colombian peso, not just the dollar.

speaking of exchanging money, does anyone know of any places on the street in Medellin where you can change dollars for pesos? there has to be somewhere, i just haven't found it yet..

Cheers Terry says on Sep 4, 2008, 12:36:

On the street? If you're desperate to be completely screwed over with the exchange rate there are lots of banks and cambios that are happy to take your cash.

Be smart, use an ATM.

Terry

Acuerpado... I just sold my truck here in Medellin and have a large stash of COP I need to change to USD before the end of November so i can take money back to the US. Let me know if you are looking to buy COP, and I will give you a better rate than the exchange houses.

No. That's why people are saying to use ATMs.
