Unlimited International Calling Plans

Hi everybody, I've been checking out this page for a while now and this is my first post.

Don't know if this has been posted already but just wanted to share the new calling plan my family and I have been using to make calls to Colombia. All calls are unlimited and I believe the first 3 months are for $19.99/mo, after that it's $34.99/mo. At least that is what we signed on for but I don't know if the prices have changed.

The company's name is Crossfone and their customer service # is 800-766-6160. E-mail: support at crossfone.com

We did it all with a Spanish speaking customer service rep but I'm sure they'll have people who also speak Spanish.

Not a good sign I checked the website which wasn't very clear about what cities are included, so I called the phone number you gave and it was disconnected. I double checked the site and the number appears to be correct.

I use www.skype.com You can make unlimited free calls anywhere in the world from computer to computer as long as you and the other person has skype and highspeed internet.Calls to Landlines from Colombia to the U.S. are 2 cents per minute using skypeout.

I am taking my novia in Neiva a Vonage box with a Houston number and setting her up with DSL. The $300 a month long distance bills are getting a bit old. Hell, I could buy her a halfway decent car with that kind of money.

crossfone Thought I'd give crossfone a try so i signed up...so far the connection is fine. If you have free nationwide calling from ure landline the calls will be free for a monthly fee of 19.99 for the first 3 months...calls to cali or bogota are at a around 24.99 after the first three months but to medellin its 34.99. if oyu dont get free nationwide calling, you'll have to pay .02 cents per minute per call. however, the customer support will put money on your acct for you for free to cover the .02 cents per minute...which was kind of cool.

I took vonage down to medellin only problem is that the so-called banda ancha we got in our home in medellin is too slow...make sure ure internet connection in colombia is atleast 100 kbs for upload. if you don't ure connection will be so choppy you wont be able to understand anything. you can goto dslreports . com to check ure speed...make sure ure looking at upload and not dl.

I also use a cpl other calling cards...best ive found so far is for 9 cents to colombian cell....5.8 cents to medellin....and 3.8 cents to cali and bogota....there are no other hidden fees...anyways...hope this helps.

Phone Bills Hola!

If she has a high speed internet connection, she can call you for free without a box using http://www.voipstunt.com/en/index.html I give them 10 Euros and then its good for 4 months!

I spend 2.5 cents a minute to call my GF in Cali with http://www.voipstunt.com/en/index.html using my high speed internet and just cost 7.5 cents more to call here from my office computer to her home while on my lunch break. She just has a landline connection there.

I am going with Vonage as my brother in Barcelona has one and he uses it to talk to a company in Bogota that does work for him. He has a Miami Vonage number and he sent the Bogota vendor another box with a Miami number. He is able to call them Vonage to Vonage for free.

I am going to get my novia a PC as a surprise for Christmas anyway, but I don't want for either of us to be chained to a PC to talk. I will just call her Houston Vonage line and she can plug her cordless phone into the box. There is no need to even have a computer. Calls from any Houston number will be free. Well, it will be $40 a month for her DSL and $25 for Vonage. It is still a hell of a lot less than $300 a month to her mobile.
