Yup.. and there is a thread for almost every region of the world, plus forums for international chat (where as usual, discussons can be difficult because the word that means one thing to people in one area means several somethings slightly different to people elsewhere).

Aside from that, the continental and country fourms are a fun thing for armchair travellers to get a taste of what cities elsewhere look like.
