leftside says on Jan 3, 2009, 13:05: Ha - you are in the same boat as me. I'm stuck in Vancouver, also loving the cold weather (currently snowing here!). I used to live in Toronto, so I'm familiar with the cold weather a little further east.

Saltador says on Jan 8, 2009, 19:40: Actually the way it went down was that the city council and the mayor denied them the permits. They said the concerts had caused too many problems and complaints from the public. Also there was two separate organizations one called Ultra Mar and the other was Summer Dance. Sounded like they were competing against each other...

romy says on Jan 8, 2009, 20:10: what a sham... surely lawsuits will follow. I know a few people that traveled for the festival and they're pretty pissed off. I wanted to go for Above & Beyond and Tiesto, but since I'd seen them earlier in the year I opted for a different trip last week and man am I glad, I'd be a crazy man running around Cartagena.

esanch36 says on Jan 9, 2009, 05:58: I went to SDF last year It was pretty badyl organized and alot of DJ's didnt show up. Unfortunatly i think this was the going to be the last year....The city of cartagena is full of bullchit and cant see past there own arses, this festival had the potential to be world renown because it brought in alot of quality DJ's. To bad they are stuck in the past. The city wouldnt give permits because they said it took to many police to control it....Bullchit!!!!! I think a Silvestre Dangond concert draws a chit lot more people and alot more crazy drunks, and they have no prob getting premits...Fuck the city council of Cartagena.!!!!
