Two Weeks

Two weeks until I go to Colombia, and eight years since I've been able to go to mi Mami's home village.

I kept a diary last time I went and did consider sharing it here on this website (Decided against as my life certainly isn't very exciting) and this time I hope to use the time I'm there to relax and really concentrate on my writing.

My job pays the bills but it isn't what I want to do in life. Alas, paying the bills all too often comes first.

One day, perhaps one day soon, I want to go and live in Colombia, just for a couple of years, not forever, the Cockney half of me dominates the Colombian half, but for the experience, to improve my Spanish and to experience a different way of life in a place I feel such a spiritual connection.

Only when I'm grey and crumbling and ready to retire, do I want to swap the beautifully ugly city of London, for the sun baked little peublos where time takes a siesta as well.
