My girlfriend and I are going to vacation in Colombia. If we decide to marry there what is the process, requirements, etc. We are both only US citizens.

utopiacowboy says on Aug 11, 2004, 14:29: Based on my experience I would never marry in Colombia unless I was marrying a Colombiana. You must enjoy paperwork or tramites as they say. Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Rico says on Aug 11, 2004, 18:12: Dominican Republic marriages... I believe the Dominican Republic offers no hazzle marriages (and divorces)! Colombia, on the other hand, is not a the same level. I mean, the level of difficulty is much higher!
