Just to let everyone know from now (actually from a few days ago) I will defend myself when ever a poster refers to me try antagonize me in a comment...since the mods don't do anything about these attacks .... I have decided to take matters into my own hands...so when attacked I will attack back as hard as my English language will allow
I would like to apologize to the people who have to read it but personal attacks has to stop....they have been going on way too long...if my account gets deleted so be it but I refuse to be constantly attacked by these loud mouth tugs

vicshere says on Nov 24, 2007, 11:43: sorry slguy but like GIB said being on here and ignoring attacks to your name is total bullshit...it shouldn't be tolerated and it shouldn't be happening....some seams to get away with it more than others....I have been a member for a long time and believe I have added some very interesting and good information to this site.....but in the last year also like GIB I have bee attacked constantly, threatened and accused of action I have not done...this isn't even speaking about the 5 -10 African letters I am getting lately (last 1 1/2 months) which I know is somebody form this site..... just the other day again I was accused of something I didn't do...but again nothing was done.....if the rules says don't attack the poster then thems the rules plain and simple...but again I refuse to let this carry on...thanks for you interest in my post listo 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Desideria (Moderator) says on Nov 24, 2007, 11:51: Vic, I taking this out in the public now. I've been deleting comments that can be considered as ad hominem attacks against you in several threads over this weekend, sent pm's and will not tolerate any out and out vebal battle here on this site. Use the ignore button and count the comments I've been deleting in the past two days instead of declaring war. If this continues without any provocation from your part, accounts will be cancelled. Man Tequila says on Nov 24, 2007, 11:59: Vicshere, you gotta keep things in persepective. You should defend yourself from attacks, of course, but remember this can be done in a civil manner. Not every dig requires attacking back as far as your English language will allow. As general advice, ignore the people who bother you and alert the mods about unfair posts. You're just carrying that chip on your shoulder and you in your paranoia think that the "mods" have a bias against you. I might not like the tone of your comments or agree with your opinions, but NOT A CHANCE that I'd treat you unfair. "When shall we three meet again? john_stark says on Nov 25, 2007, 08:36: Talk about whining. The mods seem to do a lot of whining about being mods. They remind me of television's Survivorman, Les Stroud, who's always complaining about the camera equipment he's hauling around and how much work it is, blah, blah, blah. It's YOUR idea, Les, not to have a camera crew so stop whining about it. Same for the mods. The mods moderate when they feel like it. I realize that this is not a paid position but the same goes for a lot of voluntary work - if you're not prepared to do what it takes then don't do it. This includes reading ALL the threads and ALL the posts.
