trying to get visa for Fiancee's mom for late October wedding . . . .

hey guys - once again I'm turning to PBH for advice -
my fiancee's mom bought the pin yesterday and she got an interview date for Monday . . . it was either Monday the 19th or Nov. 2 . . . the thing is our wedding date is for October 29 and to boot; there is no way of getting her any type of proof of our wedding date - ie wedding invitation, photos, copies of her entering the country . . . what guaranteed int'l. overnight shipping w/weekend service exists? would e-mailed photos of everything suffice? Thanks in advance

She could take the photos to the foto japon and have them print.

Also scan every proof you have (wedding invitations, copies of your fiance entering the country, etc.) and have her print it in good quality printers.

I think she should worry more about having all of her financial documentation, documents of any property she has (real state, cars), proofs that she has employment, etc.

My mother had the interview before mine and she was well prepaired (with wedding invites and photos of us, copies of our petition etc), they didnt look at any of that stuff (but at least she had it if they would have ask her about it, but they watch her finantial information very closely and they also ask her many things about seth's and I relationship, like our ages, where did we meet and things like that.

So make sure she knows some details about your relatioship, try faxing her (or scannign and sending her) all you can and cross your fingers so she can put together all the documents she needs!

Good luck!

Silvia

Get a letter Try getting a notarized letter sent from the clergy who will be doing the ceremony. Thats the only thing I can think of.
