i was asked to teach at the eafit llano grande campus, some years ago, i declined, preferring to teach the children of the campesinos for free.

good luck in your studies and in your future. by the way, you might want to look into the llano grande campus...you'll discover far more of colombia there, and the persons you discover to be your friends, will be true friends. very little bull shit up there.

When are you studying there, i will be there in March for 3 weeks and good to Eafit for the 2 week Spanish intensive course, i live in Spain at the moment but to many tourists.Relocating to South America maybe Medellin later on in the year with my work.What part of Canada are you from i had a great time in Edmonton,Banff Lake Louise and Victoria. Be glad to meet up for a few drinks though.

if you send and e to the medellin campus and ask them for the tel number of the llano grande office they'll sent it to you. or just call the school...or, call medellin information.

llano grande is 45 min up the hill from medallo and a light year above the muck. i lived for years in poblado and envigado but gave them both up for the finca in llano grande. if you e me at dwmte7 at yahoo.com, i can give you some contacts in llano grande that are as reliable as your grandmother. all the best.

Canadian from Toronto never been over that side but you never know.So you there in the college for a year, whats it like.My work is the oil field i am due to start a contract later in the year in Brazil thats why i am going there in Jan-Feb,plus i have a mate there.I work for Transocean on board a Drill ship Deepwater Diascovery so the ship is off to Brazil, currently in Nigeria.I am looking to relocate from Spain to South America, also trying to learn Spanish in Spain is difficult most Spanish there know so much bloody English.the house is sold so now its a matter if where i want to go.I work 28 days on 28days off so can live anywhere really. mshirlock at msn dot com.

Possibly where I'm staying now might be available in January or February. I rent a room in Guayabal which is across from Poblado. Eafit is not far from where I am and she charges 200.000 pesos a month including all utilities. It's not really nice but it has hot water and my roommate (30 year old woman) even cooks for me sometimes and she is hardely ever here.
