Cerealkiller says on Nov 17, 2005, 05:22: Dwmte you're totally right. First of all I highly doubt colombian women have a weakness for foreign men, and then I dont think Colombian men are too macho either. I have met extremely nice and not-macho-at-all colombian men, and as a girl I don't think nationality matters...as long as the girl is not a dollar digger...In my case, I swore Id never date any gringos...that has always been a no-no on my book, I didnt do it in high school, on holidays or any of the sort...But somehow, I ended up with a pasty white assed gringo and have never in my life dated a Colombian or any latin american guy for that matter. caslug says on Nov 17, 2005, 06:24: captian.. it doesn't matter if it's true or not, and while your "gringo" exotic factor plays a role in attracting women. If you don't rock their world, they'll still drop your ass! So believe all you want that COL guys are bad, but if YOU'RE not treating them(women) right, then it doesn't matter does it??

CuriosJoe says on Nov 17, 2005, 15:00: Yeah? Blue eyes- And what part of Colombia is that? I've met very few. I myself prefer light skin dark hair ideally with blue/green eyes but dark eyes ok, but this is more South of Brazil and Argentina. But I love the curves Colombianas have. Skinny brazilianas can get boring for lack of variety. What's Venezuela like, I heard the best looking ones live there... never been myself.

elmodefoque says on Nov 18, 2005, 11:17: I would consider myself a macho man, but only because I love fishing, baseball, outdoors and drinking beer with buddies and chasing hookers, but I always get my ass kicked by women. I got scara all over and just about all were caused by women physically abusing me, including la burrita that nearly ripped my little right nut off with a vicious kick, many moons ago. Just last week my violent young cachaca wife broke her 70 dollar lamp on my head. I had to run outta the apartment in my underwear to keep from getting killed. Desideria (Moderator) (Trustee board) says on Nov 18, 2005, 14:58: macho sp eng There's a considerable difference in semantics here. A 'macho' in Spanish is not a a bully or a wife-beater but a man that is strong, honorable, responsible, hard-working and self-confident. "When shall we three meet again? Also if you dont care how women react to you why did you even bring it up as an example??? and finally if I was one sided I would not be on here asking these questions right? Im not saying colombian men are pigs, but maybe a climate exists for this to happen more so than up here.

Desideria (Moderator) (Trustee board) says on Nov 19, 2005, 11:42: oh dear, I doubt that the "pasty gringo" even exists, it's just a a funny stereotype of the men that participate on these arranged wife-shopping tours to Colombia. The "paste" I have in mind is the gluey stuff we use to make papier maché. It's a kindergarten term alright. "When shall we three meet again? utopiacowboy says on Nov 19, 2005, 13:31: Unfortunately they do exist. The 60 year old guy I met at the embassy who was trying to get his young 24 year old fiancee a visa was one of them. He kept insinuating that we had something in common so in return I refused to speak English to him and kept answering his questions in Spanish. Yeah, pretty snooty I know, but he pissed me off.
