Trip from Cali to Manizales

I would like any information or experiences board members have had taking the bus from Cali to Manizales. What is the trip time and mainly is it safe at this time? How about the cost? I really want to avoid taking a plane from Cali to Bogota to Manizales. Also if anyone has any experiences with good hotels or B&B in Manizales it would be a great help. Did you like Manizlaes? Thanks for the help!

Safety is fine, and landscape is beautiful. More like 6 hours though. It is very different from Cali, but I like Manizales a lot.

Go to the Nevado del Ruiz if you can, and Santa Rosa de Cabal just 45 minutes away.
