I would like any information or experiences board members have had taking the bus from Cali to Manizales. What is the trip time and mainly is it safe at this time? How about the cost? I really want to avoid taking a plane from Cali to Bogota to Manizales. Also if anyone has any experiences with good hotels or B&B in Manizales it would be a great help. Did you like Manizlaes? Thanks for the help!

Gator says on Feb 13, 2005, 11:47: It's O.K. Expresso Plamira has three buses each day (there are others just stop by the main terminal in Cali and ask)-I would take the one that leaves at 6:30 in the morning because you will be traveling through some of the most beautiful countyside in Colombia.
