My name is Ivon, I was born in Bogota and was raised in an orphange up until i was four when I was adopted. Since I was a young child I've had the desire to return and search for my family and explore Colombia. I've been thinking about taking a break from school and traveling during the summer months of june through august. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about anything. I'm not completely ignorant of the country but in terms of traveling I am. I'm 22 and needing some adventure but I don't know if i'm foolish to take on this trip alone. I don't know if it's best for me to stay at a hostel or a hotel or try to find some one to stay with. Any adivice is much appreciated. Thank you.
