Traveling to Cartagena?

Looking to make my way from Panama City to Cartagena, possibly by sail/motor if possible, or by road end November, early Dec. Any interested parties?

Peter Boat is the best option, costs about the same as a flight. You cannot take a road - there isn't one, and crossing the jungle is very dangerous - the place if full of guerilla and paramilitares.

(Note: you can however have a wonderful holiday in a place like Capurgana - close to the Panama border. But you have to take a flight there and don't trek around - stay where the lovely hotels are. It is considered safe by the people I talk to.)

Going in January Hello, My wife and I are traveling to Bogota on Jan.8. I used to work in Colombia, and my wife is Colombiana. We are going to Cartagena and Santa Marta around Jan. 10. If anyone wants to hook up and drink some aguadiente or go scuba from Hotel Caribe; Let me know.
