A must-see is Iguazu Falls/Foz de Iguacu at the tres fronteras: borders of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. You can take a helicopter ride over the falls and take a fast boat ride right up to the falls. You can also do a zip line through the canopy.

See virtualtourist.com South America forum for more info. If you enter various destinations in the destination search box you will find a lot of information about hotels, restaurants, activities, etc.

Brasil is a very huge country with a variety of things to do and place to visit.

Of course you have the praia (beach) along all the eastern side from Natal/Fortaleza to the south (Rio de Janeiro, Barra de Tijuca, Florianopolis, Buzios, Porto Alegre, etc.)
But if you like adventure...go to the Amazonas. Manaos is the city. And as Porteña said, the Iguazu Folks in the borderline with Argentina and Paraguay.

I prefer the south, and Buzios & Florianopolis are the best places for me. But other people like Salvador de Bahia, Porto Alegre, of course Rio de Janeiro, Petropolis.

For now take a look to this sites, and then decide where do you like to go.

www.itamambuca.com this is a resort but it also has great campsites off the beach. Gorgeous beach, great surf, and no commerce, and all the surrounding beaches are good too. It's just south of Paraty. Amazing coast!! And Sao Paulo is better than you hear, worth a stop if you miss the city.
