Travel wikis - what happened to them?

I was just curious where all of the colombia travel wikis had vansished to... there is (was?!) some good information there.

I also think it would be great to someohow put LCaciques marathon historical photo post somewhere so it doesn't sink into oblivion - maybe broken up into eras or something.
