Travel to Brasil from Colombia

Hi There,

Just had a great time in Colombia and I´m looking to get over to Salvador in Brasil. The quotes I´m getting for flights are horrendous at the moment and I´m wondering if there are any cheap flights running this route or if it is cheaper to fly somewhere else in Brasil.

I will also consider going to a neighbouring country if it cheapens things up as most of the quotes are in $700+ region, ouch...

Any suggestions greatly appreciated..

On http://www.co.despegar.com/ they have offers, but "Rio for 440 UDS" is per person if there are three, otherwise it'll cost you 1100 (!) USD if you're travelling alone.

The only problem is if you haven"t got anyone in England to receive the ticket it will cost about $75 to get the ticket Fedexed to Colombia..
