Good day,
I have a friend, internet friend from Medellin.
We have agreed to meet in San Jose, Costa Rica for my summer vaction.
Questions I have ........
1. Is there a travel agent in Medellin someone might recommend that can ticket a flight for me online.
2. I read Columbians do not need a VISA for Costa Rica only a passport. TRUE or not?
3. If only a passport is needed is it difficult to get a passport?
4. Where in Medellin do you go for it and is there a site in Spanish or English with the process listed?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts you might have on this matter.

I really enjoyed seeing her father substitute his leg for hers while the "winner" got to take the garter off. At my wedding reception, some lucky coworker of my wife's got to take her garter off with his teeth! They said that's the custom in Colombia - yeah, right! Good thing I drew the line at his tagging along for the wedding night..... I am talking about all things considered...safety, politics, etc. I love Colombia mind you but Costa Rica is very probably the finest country in all of Latin America which is why you will find practically no expat Costa Rican community in the U.S. (They don't run to the US trying to escape financial problems, civil wars and or violence?)

utopiacowboy says on Apr 30, 2005, 08:38: No, Mario, I was only joking about the menage a trois. They all claimed that it was the Colombian custom to have the single guy who wins the honor of the bride's garter take it off with his teeth. Of course I told them that it was the American custom for the single woman who wins the bouquet to give the groom a BJ. So I guess we're even.
