Travel Itinerary

I am planning to visit Colombia with friends on June 25 and will stay through July 9. Could anyone help in planning a travel itinerary? We would like to visit Cartagena for 4 days and stay in Bogota up to a week. Otherwise I am totally open and am looking for ideas (e.g., Providencia, Santa Elena, etc). What clubs in Bogota have good music and dancing?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Sounds like a good schedule, you can fly to Cartgena, prolly about 100 dollars one way or take the copatran or berlinas bus service no real need to book in advance 55 dollars one way, they run all day prolly about 14 hours plus or so to get there.

The beaches in Colombia are nothing special but Cartgena has a good mix with the old and new town.

Expect bad service wherever you go, you wont be dissapointed then.

Crepes and waffles is a good palce to eat plus there ice cream rules.

La casa mona main steaks calle 83 area.

Calle 83 and Calle 92 is where all the rich colombians go to play, good tunes, easy to get picked up, i went to some bar round calle 92 and Nacht around calle 92 also and some other place around calle 83 area, girls basically throw themselves at you to dance all night or are begging for you to wave you over to there table.

Best and safest place to stay suitesreal.com

Prolly? Thank you for your reply. What do you mean by "prolly"? Is the bus service you refer to between Cartagena and Bogota? Is it safe to travel by bus or should we fly? So are Calle 83 and Calle 92 in Zone Rosa?

Sorry prolly is just slang for probably, buses are safe but if you can afford to fly then i would, purely for time factor and the some of the winding roads.

Yes the popular restaurants, clubs and bars are in zona rosa the areas above.

The old town is cool in the south but its best to be there in the day for safety.
