I am planning on flying to Medellin in October where I will meet my friend and we will fly to Sao Paulo in October for the Formula1 race. I am having a hard time getting good connections from Medellin to Sao Paulo. The airline I am looking at we have to leave a day early, fly through Panama and it is a whole day of travel. I saw one listing where we would fly Medellin/Miami/Sao Paulo/Miami/Medellin. Of course my friend would need travel visa. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Another option is to fly through Buenos Aires or La Paz, that way your friend won´t need any visa.
