You may want to stay at a local hostel. Kiwi and the Black Sheep are the two big ones in Poblado, Medellin. At the Black Sheep there always seemed to be English speaking guest there. One of the 4 or 5 receptionists speaks English. The owner, Kelvin speaks English and is very knowledgeable. He was out of town the first time I went. The staff is great and will try to help the best they can. They have a wealth of information there. You can get info from Salsa classes, Local Dentist, ATM locations, stores, Bus routes, local attractions and other info.

What do you include in your tour, coffe?

"I am a citizen of the most beautiful nation on earth. A nation whose laws are harsh yet simple, a nation that never cheats, which is immense and without borders, where life is lived in the present."

You can start here http://www.medellintraveler.com

I have an English Speaking Tour Guide with Insured and Privately Owned Vehicle who can show you around all day. If you want to go out at night, you'll need another service for that.
