Transferring credits from a university in Medellin/ Cali back to the US

Hey all!

I am moving to Medellin or Cali next week for the next 6 months and want to go to university there. I already have been going to university here in the states but am a few credits shy of my bachelors. Any advice as to which school I should try to get into and how likely it would be for me to get in a few weeks before classes start? Also, which school operate on the calendar with the new semester starting in January or February?

The answer to the later question especially I should b eon the school's websites, but it is almost impossible to find! So thanks for all the help and Happy New Year!

An extensive post was done on this a few months back so do a search here but esssentially you have submit the Colombian courses(via a nonpersonal official copy) to a state approved(your state)accrediting agency where they are translated into English(content description). The agency in my area(miami) is the Joseph Smiley Agency.

hey mike I did several searches before I posted and again, but all I can find is going to university to learn spanish, which I don't need to do.

I may not have been that clear in my original post. Basically I want to transfer the credits from a university in medellin BACK to my school in the US towards finishing my credit requirements. I actually have not been going to school for a few years (too lucrative working!) and I figure since I am going to be in medellin doing nothing for 6 months, it would be nice to take a few classes to meet cool people in an academic setting, learn something, and hopefully be a bit closer to graduation.

Again, the school websites are next to worthless, and it is hard to get ahold of anyone on the phone. I may have to do the tried-and-true technique of knocking on doors when I get down there!
