Hi, I was wondering if someone has any experience bringing a family member from Colombia to Canada. I know the tourist visa is more like getting a temporal residense.
Since I support her economically, would I need to send my papers from work, bank statements, etc,??
Alguien tiene alguna experiencia en traer a un familiar a Canada/? que tipo de documentacion se requiere? solo para visitar.
Thanks,

The visa for Canada appears to be much more open thatn the visa for the USA. i do not believe that you would ahve problemas but submit all the papers that you can to prove that you can support her.

My mom is 53 years old and I don't see the embassy thinking about her wanting to stay longer in Canada on the other hand your-sister-in-law is a young lady who may want to stay longer??
