Tourist Visa for UK

Hi, has anybody applied for a tourist visa for the UK since they changed to an appointment system?

Application form has been complete but it is impossible at the moment to find available dates for interview. Its a disgrace. I called the embassy and they said just to keep logging on between 9am-11am to see if times become available. A joke - not a single appointment available at the moment even including up to 12 months time.

The old system where people just turned up whilst maybe a bit chaotic seemed to work ok.

DO you mean the embassy in Bogotá? ALso, was it for a Colombian national? I was complaining this morning about DAS only giving me an extra 30 days, i suppose i have it easy.

I'm writing about a colombian national applying for a visa to enter the UK as a tourist. Been trying for 7 days - hopeless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Options showing on the website for interview are Bogota, Cali and Medellin - not a sausage in either of the offices!

my parents are here in the UK they applied for their visa 3 month before their trip here and there was no problems at all, they have to fill the application online then they gave them the appointment in June.

Because my mother has been here before she applied for a 5 year multi-entry visa and she got it my dad because is his first time here they gave him a 6 month multi-entry.
