TOEFL Preparation Courses/Classes in Bogota

Hello Everyone,

My girlfriend lives in Bogota, COL.
In order for her to graduate from her university (La Javeriana),
she has to pass the TOEFL exam.

I was wondering if anyone can give me some information on where
she can take classes for the TOEFL and learn english in bogota?
Are there any institutes in bogota that teach her English and
that help her prepare for the TOEFL?

Any information is greatly appreciated..
Thank you,

MIGUEL ANGEL

My First Stop Woüld Be... one of the Centro Colombo Americano schools. Costeño why does La Javeriana require her to do this? My wife (she was graduated from Los Andes) said, "What?"

Los Andes I talked with the director of the language-english program at los andes just a few weeks ago, whilst looking for work teaching and that was indeed the deal there no pass toefl = no graduation. I was very impressed and surprised with this info; the toefl is a tough test. As to why...I can only speculate that the top university in colombia sees english as an important skill that its graduates should have.

Is Not That Requirement... only for those who are English majors? I don't think the TOEFL is required for all student who are graduating in other areas.

Its a Requirement in la javeriana It's actually required for my girl to pass the TOEFL.
she is a law (derecho) student and i guess that's
the way the university prepares their students, like JON said, the university thinks its very important for its' graduates to be able to defend themselves in english.
